On the
joyous occasion of the 41st Birth Anniversary of our Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar
Namgyal Wangchuk, my family and I join the Bhutanese Nation in praying for His Majesty's
vibrant health, supreme happiness and long and blissful life. May the Shangri-La and
her people continue to shine and thrive, and radiate rays of peace and hope for
the trouble-torn world under the visionary leadership of His Majesty the King.
I cannot resist my tears of joy and bliss whenever I reminisce of the OASIS of unfathomable love, honour and recognition that His Majesty bestowed on the Indian teachers in acknowledgement and appreciation of our humble services in the Kingdom through astounding celebrations of Teachers’ Day and Fifty Years of Enduring Relationship between the two great nations (India and Bhutan) on May 2, 2018, in the capital city, Thimphu.
