Dear Sir,
Wishing you a very happy birthday filled with good
health and happiness. On this special day of yours, I wanted to extend my
gratitude though words won’t be enough to carry it all. Coincidentally, your day
coincides with the world book day, a perfect day to celebrate the power of
reading and knowledge, both of which you gracefully instilled in me. I still
remember how you narrated to us stories of Mother Teresa and Gandhiji, and also
your days as Apchi sir. Perhaps it was in those narration, a journey began, one
that led me to reading. Your empowerment was the gentle nudge that opened the
doors of thought and curiosity. Today, as I sit with a book, I am reminded it
all began with your guidance. I still remember how you referred to us as
“Little Buddhas”. Your teachings always went far beyond the classroom. Whenever
I go back to Chhukha, it reminds me of how profoundly we went around doing
cleaning campaign under your coordination, not as a duty, but as a way of life.
This simple yet profound act taught me the value of humility, discipline, and
the importance of giving back. I am sure you have touched countless lives
through this extraordinary commitment. Thank you for being a teacher who led
not just with words, but with action. A mentor who planted values which
eventually started to bloom. May your birthday be filled with the same light
and quiet power that you’ve bought into so many lives.
Yours,
Little buddha
